Phi Sigma Sigma, Inc. announces in celebration of the Phi Sigma Sigma Foundation’s 50th Anniversary, the kick off of a special Convention 2019 fundraising campaign to raise the costs to construct two schools in Guatemala through the Circle of Sisterhood Foundation. This special project supports our philanthropic focus of school and college readiness while perfectly aligning with Phi Sigma Sigma’s twin ideas: the brotherhood of man and the alleviation of the world’s pain.

The Circle of Sisterhood Foundation, with its implementation partner buildOn, will facilitate the building of the two schools utilizing a school building methodology that focuses on gender equality. This will ensure that at least 50% of the students enrolled will be girls.

Phi Sigma Sigma will send collegiate and alumnae members on two trips to participate in the start of school construction in Summer 2020. These ambassadors will break ground on the school and receive a firsthand experience as to the meaningful impact building a school will have on the community they select and how an education will forever change these young children’s lives.

We can't wait to embark on this exciting journey of service and sisterhood with our collegians and alumnae. This project is like nothing the Fraternity has ever done before and with your help, we can make a lasting impact in the world!
